Join us for our Fall Fling event on November 2nd.  There will be games, food trucks and raffle prizes.  Tickets to be purchase to play games and prize for winning a game is a raffle ticket to some great items.  All tickets sales are considered a contribution to RPAC.

OFFICIAL RULES

To be eligible to win the Carteret County Association of REALTORS® and NC REALTORS® PAC Raffle, please follow these rules:

1. You must be eligible to invest in RPAC, a federal political action committee, and NC REALTORS® PAC, a state political action committee, in order to participate in the raffle. The class of eligible investors is comprised of members of the National Association of REALTORS® (“NAR”) and NC REALTORS® (“NCR”), their immediate family, or executive, administrative and management personnel of a REALTOR® association. NAR, NC REALTORS® staff, their immediate families, and those living in their households are not eligible for the raffle.  Local REALTOR® association staff should comply with local policies, if any, regarding participating in raffles prior to participating. Independent contractors retained by the association are not eligible for the raffle.

2. To enter, you can invest in RPAC in person by check or cash (limit $50 in cash investment per individual per day) through November 2, 2023. All entries for the raffle drawing for Artic Soft Cooler, 2 Stanley Tumblers, Beaufort Olive Oil Basket, Apple Air Pods, Gift Certificate to Prime Bistro Restaurant. You can enter by either making a minimum investment of $15 in RPAC.

3. If, for any reason, the raffle is not capable of running as planned, including tampering, unauthorized intervention, or fraud beyond the control of the sponsor, which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this raffle, sponsor reserves the right in their sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the raffle.

4. The raffle will consist of one drawing for each prize. Artic Soft Cooler, 2 Stanley Tumblers, Beaufort Olive Oil Basket, Apple Air Pods, Gift Certificate to Prime Bistro Restaurant (to be drawn for separately). The drawing will be held on November 2, 2023. The Prize is nontransferable and cannot be substituted.

5. Winners will be notified in person, by phone, mail, or e-mail. Winners will be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility, a liability release, and, where lawful, a public release within fourteen (14) days of notification. If affidavit and release are not signed and returned within fourteen (14) days or if the prize notification is returned to sponsor as undeliverable, then an alternative winner will be selected. All prizes will be awarded.

6. For name of prize winner, please contact the Association at 919-573-0991 after the drawing deadline.

7. Winners, by accepting the prize, agree that the prize is awarded on the condition that RPAC, NAR, NC REALTORS®, and Carteret County Association of REALTORS® and their respective agents, officers, directors, representatives, and employees will have no liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind resulting from the acceptance, possession, misuse, or use of the prize or participation in the raffle. Winner further acknowledges that RPAC, NAR, NC REALTORS®, and Carteret County Association of REALTORS® have not made nor are in any manner responsible or liable for the warranty, representation, or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or law, relative to the prize including but not limited to, its quality, mechanical condition, or fitness. All entries submitted become the property of NAR and NC REALTORS® and will not be acknowledged or returned. By participating, entrants agree to these official rules, and that the decision of judges is final and binding in all matters relating to the raffle. Any taxes imposed upon a prize will be the sole responsibility of the winner.

8. Winners, where lawful, grant permission for the use of winner’s name, voice, city, state and photograph or videotape for advertising and promotional purposes in conjunction with this and similar promotions without additional compensation.

Contributions to RPAC are not deductible for federal or state income tax purposes. Contributions are voluntary and are used for political purposes. Suggested amounts are merely guidelines and you may contribute more or less than the suggested amounts. The National Association of REALTORS® and its state and local associations will not favor or disadvantage any member because of the amount contributed or a decision not to contribute. You may refuse to contribute without reprisal. Your contribution is split between National RPAC and the State PAC in your state. NC RPAC supports the efforts of National RPAC and contributes a portion of its contributions to National RPAC. Contact your State Association or PAC for information about the percentages of your contribution provided to National RPAC and to the State PAC. The National RPAC portion is used to support federal candidates and is charged against your limits under 52 U.S.C. 30116. In-kind contributions/donations are not included for the purposes of the National RPAC State PAC split. NC law requires political committees to report the name, mailing address, job title or profession and name of employer or employee's specific field for each individual whose contributions aggregate is in excess of $50 in an election cycle. Contributions can only be accepted from individuals in the form of personal checks or credit cards. Contributions from corporations or business entities cannot be accepted. This solicitation was paid for by NC RPAC.
